Ultima is already done, same $40. I am still deciding on material. These and the BDL's should be available by mid next week. I hate to say will be, that's when shit that you couldn't have imagined really fucks your plans up. So I'll say should be for now.

Guys, I will get with all of you who have sent PM's soon as I can. I have you all down for one.

Oversees, shipping should be roughly $10 US give or take. US postal service Global Priority mail.

I'll be in touch with all this evening.

Thanks,

kirk

just curious how the assembly process will work with this lock plate. going over it in my head seems like there may be issues involved with offset pulleys. the nut doesn't seat against the pulley, it seats inside the insert. this means if you torque the nut down and then remove the insert allen bolts to bolt down the lock plate the pulley won't stay in place with the belt on and i've never seen one of these drives be able to go on without the belt on the pulleys. it may work fine in but it seems like there may be a lot of struggling going on.

It should do with the mills pins in place.

And the Ultima has six insert bolts, so if the are are only 3 insert bolt tabs, the other 3 bolts will hold it in.

So much for in touch yesterday. busy as hell. Will get intouch with all before weekend is out.

Dilligaf, yes you do have to pull the cap screws after the the belt and pulleys are on and the crank nut is touqued completely. I have performed the operation myself and did not have any problems with it. As a fail safe, you could use a piece of flat bar to fit in betwwen the pulleys (same as you have to use anyway to torque them in the first place) to jam the assmbly so as to make sure the front pulley does not shift on the pins. Which is very highly unlikely anyway.

Are these still available for ultimas? Or is there somewhere else to get them now?

RustyHowe,

At moment, I do not have any for ultimas and have no plans to make anymore at least anytime soon. I am currently working on a large Bridge project right now and do not have any time at all to devote to my parts business.

Sorry about that

Kirk

If you do make it again, make it out of stainless or mild 1018 steel. The AL crushes pretty bad over time which becomes a piece of trash.
