Rockerbox Gage Mount, One-off Part

Currently I have one of these, the only one made at least for now. This may turn into a CNC production part but more on that later. Will mount to any rockerbox that has 3" bolt pattern on top, mounts an Autometer 1 1/2" Oil Pressure or any gage that has a diameter of exactly 1.600". Sifton gages fit, and a few others.

This was one of two test designs for a customer, I made both, this is the one I have left. The scallops on all of the edges are hand done, very trick part and unique won't be found in a catalog.

Interested, Pm me, email, or call 434-426-7530

Kirk

Looks like this will turn into a CNC production part judging by the responses. Give it about three weeks and they should be available for immediate delivery. Other design coming out at same time as well.

Thanks for the responses guys! Most appreciated!

Damn...I just realized that I now have a spot to mount my "required by local DMV" nuetral light. I was wondering where I was going to put that.

280,

I have a three gage that takes some high dollar german made mini gages and a 1 1/2" op gage. i have a shop that only uses those but last we talked he was having trouble getting them. I could adapt it to fit the autometers though. Price would be $165 cause it would be a one off, I really don't intend on doing any more production designs cause of the upfront hit on funds to make a bunch and then bet on trying to move them.

Fairwaymike,

I could do it for you, but I would have to have the gage in hand, and the light to do a design. I am a dealer for Mid-USA parts and Kustomwerks, I haven't seen the gage you are talking about in either cat. Basically all I need is an acurate dimension for the diameter of the gage cup and I can take it from there.

Tell me what you want to do.

Kirk

He is refferring to the NOVA MMB 48 mm gauges - Pro-One selles them now - they are ok in handlebar installs - stay away from rocker box installs - trust me!
I use to use the NOV MMB on all my gauge clusters off the rocker box and they will break - they are not vibration proof like the Autometerr units. I would not recommend using it for the rocker location - even if you have some typ e of vibration isolation - it will eventually break - 1 mile, 100 miles?

Just fyi,

Kirk,

the gauges i am talking about are german made. maybe they are the ones you mentioned above. im looking at the 48 mm speedo and indicator lights.

http://www.nova-mmb.com/novammb.asp?...ID=EN&CNTID=43

Have you ever used those gauges? They are the ones i want to use, but it looks like it may be a bitch to get them since its a german company.

Im looking for a double 48mm gauge setup off the right side of an EVO rockerbox using those gauges.

I couldnt find any small autometer gauges on their website that i liked. How small to they make them, and do they make one with, or a seperate small guage with indicator lights?

The smallest autometer gauge is 2-5/8" - that is it for now.

ddcustom,

that sucks. i noticed the pic on your website and that is the setup im after. but i dont want giant gauges. Are those the autometer gauges in your dual guage setup? If so, what is the diameter of those gauges? I need a speedo/ odo, and neutral, high beam, and left and right indicator lights.

Those look like the ones the local shop I mentioned uses. But like I said, he has been having trouble getting them. And they are pricey, very. I was just looking in my Mid-USA catalog and they have some 1 7/8" gages they carry.

Dave,

Thanks for the heads up on that with those gages, Now I know how to field that phone call in a few months.
