The "Lightning bike"

In November 2004 I gave you a copy of a design of a motorcycle I handed you a copy of a motorcycle I had named the "lightning bike " it was a fantastic bike. You said you definately wanted to build it but it would be November 2005 before you could even start it. I have left you alone about it, but I would like an update I you would please. Did you give them a deposit?

The reason I ask is because I am sure Kendall's outfit is like the rest of ours. We get a lot of "tire kickers" that run us through the paces and never purchase anything.
If you gave a deposit to have a bike built, than that is a different matter.

For the record the bike mentioned is apparently a concept that was shown to Kendall at a show and he stated that he liked certain aspects of the bike. No deposit has been made or build has been commisioned.

I figured this was the case. I think some in the general public believe that builders have really deep pockets and can afford to look at a concept or come up with a concept and then drop everything to bring it to fruition. I have had many customers approach me about theme bikes and concept bikes asking if I would be interested in building the bike. I tell them that I would be interested in building if they are interested in paying. Deposits definately motivate.
