Thumbs up New Name-new Shop!!!

I have now finished buying out my 2 partners! This is something that has needed to happen for quite some time.We were in the middle of moving the shop to a new location when we lost our son Clayton. Matter of fact he had helped my other son and I move the bulk of the product the day that he passed away. Needless to say,it has been a difficult time for us but life goes on and I know he would not want us to wallow in self pity and remorse.
The new location's address is 4023 W. Michigan Ave Jackson,Michigan 49202. The new phone number is (517)750-4577 I have also changed the name to JB Customs. Mods please take note of the name change and maybe change the name of this forum to that. Thank you
I have also taken on Saxon Motorcycles along with OCC Motorcycles. We continue to be a dealer for Drag Speciaties,Parts Unlimited.V Twin,Baker Drivetrain,HHI,Mean Street,Exile Cycles,RC Components, ect. In these economic times,it behooves me to try to stay as conservative as possible and still try to be aggressive with growth,
I looked for a long time as to which bike line to take on besides OCC. The reason I settled on Saxon was customer service after the sale and their commitment to the company and their customers. The parts being used on their bikes are for the most part are top of the line or close to it. It includes S&S,Mean Street,Primo,Metzler,RC Components, ect. I would like to see them use Baker trannies tho Primo trannies are better than a lot of what is being used by other companies. The price point on these bikes range from $19K to $29K They are working on a bagger at the moment as well. My understanding is thatTwisted Twin is working on the prototype. The price on this is supposedly around $29K
Our hours of operation are 10am-6pm Tues-Sat Thomas is there most of the time as I am usually at our service center which is just down the road.
Today,we went to a class put on by Thunder Max. This is a very good unit from what I learned today and I am working on a special for those that want to have one installed on their bike. Very user friendly and makes your bike reactive to whatever conditions your bike might run into.I am also working on a special price for those who want to install themselves.
Anyway,That is about all of the announcements today. Thank you Jim Corcoran

So terribly sorry about the loss of your son Clayton.

But I'm glad things are working out for you. Hang tough and keep taking of customers as you do and everything will work out.

PS....change your screen name to JB Customs (formerly know as OCC Parts underneath) and we'll be REALLY good......LOL

Jim,
There are no words that one can say to help you through your horrible loss.
I too lost a love one early this year and it is still not easy. I have good days and bad, as I'm sure you do. I can tell you even though I lost my mom this year I can't imaging how hard it would be if something happen to my son. He just turned 4 and I can tell you that I live in a world of fear of something happening to him. It's just something that I can't get to stop??? I only say this b/c of your comment about your son not wanting you to wallow in self pity or remorse. I don't think anyone can truly get over a loss of this nature and if you need to talk about your pain to help you deal with it, then do so and do it as often as you need. Good luck to you and yours and hang tough my friend.

Sorry for your loss man, I don't know how I'd handle something like that.

Good luck with your "new" shop, I hope it works out.

Jim, I, like JC, recently lost my mother, and although it is always difficult to lose any loved one,...the old saying is true,..."you expect to someday bury your parents, but you're never prepared to bury your children".

Very sorry for your loss, and good luck with your new shop.
