2006 Texas chopper Signals and real brake light not working

Hello everyone,
This is my first chopper. I just switched over from the crotch rocket world but I love my Texas Chopper...so far. I just have one issue with it. The signals and the rear brake light aren't working. I've tried doing some research to diagnose the problem but I only came up with the "smart flash module" as the suspect for causing the issue. I called up AIH Huntsville and the guy said that it MIGHT be some other $400 part. I just want to get this thing fixed. Any advice?

remove the signals, learn your hand gestures and correct the brake light.
