Same one he included in my hard tail deal. Everything I have from him seems welded perfectly, good stuff!

just 1 on bottom? i'd say the top 2 are vent and return the bottom is feed. that tank maybe setup to have to remove the feed line to drain the tank. wouldnt be the first time i've seen a setup like that.

Can an oil tank be mounted low or does it have to be mounted higher than the engine because of gravity. I was thinking of mounting it on my downtube

they do make under tranny oil tanks that would sit just about in line with the pump but ive never used them and dont know how well they would survive for longevity. would worry me with hard launches if the oil would slosh away from the feed port and starve the pump for a sec or 2. i personally would keep the tank high so gravity can help keep a constant supply of oil

Took your advice,
Rolled the donor bike out into the driveway, lyed it on it side and forund I still had a couple of hoses connected that I though i took off...much easier

here is its in the basement

and here's the freaking stairs I had to carry it down...what a pain in the ass

Nice work so far. Soooo... You got the motor out by laying the bike on its side. Did you get it into the frame the same way? I ask because I'm about there myself.
