I picked up a set of 4" risers. here's a couple of pics. I think they look better than the 6"

Finally picked up a donor bike 1992 sporty 883 with 9400 miles on it They wanted 3K for it but got it for 2K. Custom painted tins too

I know theres been a lot of talk on here lately about R B C and the quality of their frames so I had mine checked out by my welder 30+ years. He said the welds definately aren't the prettiest but penetration looks ok. It seems some of these frames are horrible but some are just ok. I'm not thrilled about my frame rail being at a different angle but it's more of a visual thing and wont affect the handling.
Got my seat pan from Chopper Shox. Nice seat pan but I wanted more of a contour in it to follow my frame so I took out the hammer and beater bag.

learned a valuable lesson today. Always make sure everything is securely fastened when mockining up. Had this taped on but I guess not good enough. My wife found it on the basement floor. Looks like I've got some extra work on the tank now...What a dumb ass!
