deuce tank 2001 fuel injected to carb conversion?

I have a 2001 deuce carb model. Was trying to purchase new tins for color change and new tank is 2001 injected besides pet cock conversion from pingel. What else is do I need to do to make this tank work? Thanks for the help.

After looking at both tanks on a microfiche, apart from the pet cock as you stated, I would of thought filling the hole on the top of the injected tank where the fuel pump go's would be your biggest headache. Apart from that I cant see any other issues

Yeah there is, it just depends on which top plate you need cos theres two, and one of them is freakin expensive new.
Unfortunatly on the American fiche they dont have the prices for either.

Ronnie's Harley-Davidson's 2001 Harley Davidson FXSTDI SOFTAILŽ DEUCE (EFI) (JB) | FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY Parts List

(Item numbers 23 & 24)

But on the UK fiche they do have prices

https://www.jerseyh-d.com/original-h...ftail&part=668

Same item numbers.

You could always make your own plate tho to blank it off.
