Doing a fxr over the winter. Need some opinions getting the frame coated going with aftermarket seat keep the hinge set up or cut it off and go with the nose mount seat?

You have the step up? How is it on long rides? I’m looking at that seat and the Daytona from lepera. The only thing with the saddleman is the back too square? Do you sit in it or on top of it?

great seat and very comfortable. I had the lepera as well and it was a bit too firm. I have the step up tuck and roll. It looks square but the gel makes for a softer seat.

I left the side mount inge on my stock frame FXR it had a thin Saddlemen solo on it though it was as hard as a rock. I wont do that seat again but the hinge is nice especially if you are anal about checking your oil.....
