PCM

Hi guys, got a question for you. Regarding the Power Control Module. On the copper stud the 12 ga. red wire (in kit) to + side of battery, correct? Does heavy "All Balls" 8" cable go from the starter to the copper stud also?

Tobor, I though that I was the only one building the HCII till I posted about it. Now, and this is a good thing, they are coming out of the woodwork... Give it time, I am sure that there are others building that beautiful kit!!

So there is a spacer that goes between the stator and stator cover? Did everyobe else do this? I am at a point where I can put it on or leave it off, I am just curious.
Thanks,
Rock

BigRock4545,
I didn't use a spacer between the stator cover and spacer. I thought that it was only needed if the stator cover would rub against the stator. I have around 500 miles and no problems.

I forgot the spacer for the stator cover on my final build, and test drove. Oooooops. I rubbed the stator wires in two, and had to replace the stator.
I talked to the guy the other day, and found that he hasn't had any more charging problems---question--if left alone with those cut bare wires in there, will it mess anything else up?(regulator) Just curious

I called Custom Chrome tech support regarding the Stator Rotor and the spacer. Tech support said if you got a SPYKE Stator Rotor, which is black in color you don’t need, the spacer. Spyke rotors are coned in so that a spacer is not needed.

And my stator rotor and staor did not come with any spacers.

What Stator rotor did you guys get with your kits and its color??

Anyone,
How did you guys mount the choke knob? The directions in the coil package said " if you have a left side push pull choke you may need to relocate it". Is this true? Bill....
