Chainz, sounded like this was your first build....ive been scouting Grandeur for awhile and im hoping to be ordering my kit soon with the 8 up 5 out and a springer with the TP114 and a 300 rear tire. This will be my first build. How much fabricating was involved with this kit other then what you were asking in here?

Yes this was my first build...I've been riding for years...just haven't built one...to answer you question... I had some drilling and grinding to do which is going to be normal....not sure what will happen in your case...but if they tell you not to do a mock up because everything fits ...DO ONE ANYWAY....I chose Grandeur because they are somewhat local to me (about an hour away) and because Mike Phillips is a licensed manufacturer of his own bikes...The only gripe I had was having to make so many trips to get shit that was left out of the kit or just not given to me period...on the nuts and bolts front I said fuck it and started buying shit local...other stuff I went to them... I will say anytime I went there needing a part or to exchange a part, they were good about it...not sure if that helps you or not.

Meant to say was having to make so many trips to exchange parts that were wrong or not given to me period. Because I was given alot of wrong parts.
