Got the pins removed and took off the old pulley and added the offset which is a 1/2" ...pulley's are too tight on the shafts and they will not slide on..and the front pulley, when it's all the way in, is not out enough to let the belt run free.....then I remembered putting the front primary spacer on...so I am going to remove it and see if I can get things to line up and go on right...if anyone has any suggestions feel free...the engine and tranny are not tightened down yet but there's no play in the engine mounts...ok back to the grind.

Okay....I figured out what the problems were (with some help from jimbojive and Grandeur's mechanic)and got the primary on...after that I decided I was going farther and farther and I had too many questions in my mind so I disassembled everything and I got my bud that's a MMI grad to come over and help me out some....he really knows his stuff and it's a huge help....it seems I had been going down the correct path with you guys help as well and I was giving props to ya's....we reassembled everything and I am just about to install the forks...more pics to follow soon

Update

Here's a photo of the latest...there are a few things that I haven't mounted yet but this is about enough for the mockup...I may mount the rear fender...not finding all the bolts to mount it that are called for ... so it may or may not get mounted before paint....but the motor is mounted and the trans is mounted/shimmed and the chain tracks straight...everything seems to be okay..I just layed the seat on the frame for the pic....I may disassemble soon for paint..the front rotor isn't mounted because they gave me the wrong rotor and when we exchanged it....the rotor spacer doesn't fit so I have to exchange it....it's been a real pain in the ass...they have gave me some wrong parts on a few things..but have been good at replacing anything that has been needed.

Chain Question

Question:

I had to go back...AGAIN...and get the fender struts milled out because I was given some that were wrong size at the top....after mounting the fender..it doesn't follow the wheel now....it was suggested to me to push the wheel all the way forward in the swingarm which I did, and the fender and wheel look great...but the chain is too loose so I took out a link...and the chain is so tight I can't get it to fit back on the sprockets...anybody have any suggestions before I have to go back again?....

upgrade2chopper: Thx man and yes he's somewhat local, about an hour away.

JS124: Sounds good.

I have alot of prep work before I start assembly on it, but I am looking forward to it...don't have wiring or brake line experience...so it should be interesting...doesn't look too hard though

Wish I could be of some help but I'd be the one learning.
