Tall Order

Hey cc im brand new to this forum and choppers for that matter. My problem is im 6'8 i would like to purchase a quality frame that will fit me 100% comfortably i see all these big name fabricators that tell me its not a problem but im not in a position to pay the big bucks there asking. So I my question is where can i find wht im looking for i dont care about name i jus want something good

first welcome to cc
unless you build the frame yourself you will pay big bucks
but you can use a more standard frame with say a 4 up and 6 out neck
and use forward controls that are +3 and you should have plenty of room
i'm 6'4" and don't stretch that far so 6'8" not a problem

Thanks triker for your response can you point me in a direction to find wht you described as well as should i look for rigid over softail or it doesnt matter?

alot of frame builders out there, good ,,shitty,, and half ass builders.. for my next frame will be from these guys **** CHASSIS DESIGN COMPANY ****

Im jus lookingg for a reputable builder that will give me exactly wht i need minus a second mortgage on my house if you know wht i mean..im in no rush so eventually hopefully ill find the one

didn't mean to post and bolt, actually had to do a bit of the "w" word
check the custom builders forum on here
if you can, sit on a few that are known dim and adjust from there
then you can order a frame that fits
you do have to consider up, out, rake, front end, tire size, engine, trany, controls, etc at the same time so that they all work together.
