Nice frame .........

Hey
after putting a 113 inch in to my hardtail with decompressors and a kicker and the git not starting when it was hot and the roads over here in the Uk littered with potholes, hitting a rut and sitting on my gas tank at 90 mph not good ....time for some suspension .........
so after some research ........dna chop ..250 in the back ...get it on ...

$500 from the USA ..........

its easy to see why my chop did not handle with a 113 inch s+s my old frame is shyte compared to this beast

looking good

got a good feeling about this frame .........

Cheers For the replies guys

A few more pics of the mock up .....

motor will have to be polished ......just dont look right with polished 6 speeder, chromed starter, polished ultima belt drive ...so collecting flap wheels and grit mops ....

bought the motor in 99 and it is well tested and runs like a train ..wind it up in 2nd and hit 3 gear ....makes the back of my neck tingle ...no other bike has ever done that ....just wish it was running now

just a load of parts from my stash to try and get a good look at where it stands ....looks ok I rekon

home made bars .....lookin to an internal throttle I think !

always been an ass man ...and .....wow its lookin good ...

just waitin on some frame bearings shock bolts .....head bearings .....then I can start mocking up properly ...

well i think I need to sell all my old parts ...just got a good look at the dragon springer from american suspension ......wow .....but the price is ....a little too much .......

Yup

Hi yes running a 250 tyre as that is what the frame is set up for with a belt and a 1 and a half inch offset gearbox with the motor centered in the frame makes for a better handling bike, I had a frame made with a motor and gear box offset to fit a 200 tyre and it dropped into left hand bends so hence doing it properly this time .

one of those days ..........

I work in a huge factory and we have a huge engineering dept here ..with huge packing machines and carton making machines and these guys here are old school engineers some of these guys are 60 odd years old fitters, turners, millers etc , I have explained in detail and they are all of the opinion that the bearings should be fitted on the outside of the swingarm with the circlips on the outside as long as there is a clearance fit and nothing binds when torqued up the swingarm will not move as ...it cant exept for the swingarm moving up and down as it is supposed to do .....on the bearings ...so that is what I am going with .
