Cool Solo Seat Cover Needed

I got an old spring loaded solo seat and the cover is tore up in the rear of it, and the cover has some cracks on the top. I just can't tell if the cover is leather or not, and finding leather to re-cover it is hard to find. Is there some thing that can be used to cover it that is not very slick?

I bought this leather, black in color from here :Piece,Chromexcel,4/5,Blk,18x18 - Springfield Leather Co. Inc.

Also bought screw together rivets. Decent price.

Pretty happy with it. Covered my old seat pan.

That helps. I just have an older style.
