1977 Ironhead Sportster Build
We are starting on a 77' Ironhead project. It is in the chopper style, old school chrome invader wheels, king sportster tank, custom oil tank, custom bars, blah, blah, blah. I'll get some pics on here asap and hopefully keep up on updating them as we get further into the build. Later, Strit

I love Ironheads. I have '68 hardtail with red rims, whitewalls, handmade brass oil tank (that I made from some scraps) a '75 bobber style with model A tail light integrated in the rear fender, and custom seat (that I made from scraps) and a '78H that has kinda evolved into something but not really sure what. pics to come.

Pics of the mock up
Here are a few pics of our 77' Ironhead, the custom bars we are making are shown, the powder coating we did on the jugs, heads and covers and the final pic shows a fork tube in the graphite metallic that were doing the tins and other misc pieces in. Should have more pics soon. Later, Strit

1974 Ironhead
Here's a pic of the last Ironhead we built, don't judge us by the paint job ( the owner of the bike likes it and we didn't do it). I've got some more new pics of our current one including the custom oil tank we are building for it. I'll get those on here soon. later, Strit

Well, things are finally calming down in the shop so we can get back to work on the Sporty. If all goes well tommorow or the next day we'll finish all the fab work on the oil tank, including the canister style oil tank and the copper coil oil cooler. I'll get some more pics on here asap. later, strit

A few more pics

Here's a few more pics of the build. Pics of the oil tank with the filter and coil oil cooler on. We just finished all the fab work on it so it's ready for tig welding then powder coating. In the pics you can see the box we made to hide all the electrics and the ignition. We're working on the forward controls now, the are really cool, more square tube and some aggressive looking pegs. More to come. Later, strit

Your oil tank, filter, cooler combo is way cool.
I like the originality of it.
