Suckerpunch Sally Ripoffs - BUYER BEWARE

Suckerpunch Sallys, owned by Gerie Clayton, Foreman is Steve Phillips. The company has over $3Million in lawsuit judgments against them since 2010, and $300,000 in 2012 alone.

Several people (myself included) paid over $20,000 for bikes, and never received them. I have receipts, legal records, and phone records with the Scottsdale, AZ police department to prove this.

Lesson Learned: Always look up Civil Case Records in the county that a prospective chopper vendor does business. Suckerpunch Sallys was once a reputable, award winning shop that was ruined by new owners.

Do NOT try to buy any products from this company; they have been responding to email inquiries as if they are still in business. I have confirmation from a AZ police officer the lights in their shop are out, and rent is way past due.

SPS might now be shit, but their bikes(I guess when they were delivering them) had style - except for the ones where they used revtech engines of course. They just cost damn too much brand new.

Sorry to hear what happened to you and others.

I just can never understand how a person can in good conscious, simply take a large amount of money like that from someone, knowing how long the average joe has to work to make that money and how long we have to save and go without other things in our lives to be able to save that much.I couldn't do it, my conscious would tear me up. Is this considered a criminal offense or is it all just civil? Are these said people looking at jail time? With the way the law is, you just don't know, it seems people get locked anymore for the weakest crimes, but the stuff like this that really hurts and affects others, goes unpunished. I guess the lesson in all this is, don't give anybody all the money upfront, I hate to say it but if it was me I think I only would've been willing to give the bike builder a partial deposit, and I wouldn't have paid them anymore until the bike was in my possession. But like they say, karma's a bitch and what comes around goes around, and eventually these motherfuckers will get what they got coming.

Please clarify for me -

A person hears about a bike builder. Decides to buy one.
Then that person sends $20K? Based on what - a sketch? - a pic of
a similar bike? I have never heard of this. If i buy a vehicle - I go to the
dealer and test drive and then buy that vehicle. Where is the disconnect?
I do understand the concept of a deposit. That should be $500.
OP comes to CC after the event? Why not research a little - join the site -
ask questions?

On a custom build you figure a deposit of $500 is good?

I dont build bikes for people, but I do build vehicles, and we straight up take half on anything over $1000. I wouldnt touch a job that they wont do that.

I'm not by any means saying that its all right what happened, just that you dont quite have it right.

The name itself is funny: Sucker punch...Freud might have a problem ordering a bike from somebody with the name like that...
Sorry about the loss, it's a shameful business sometimes.

Sucker Punch Sally's lawsuit.

It is unfortunate how people act in this world. My boyfriend dreamt so many times of having a chopper built by Sucker Punch Sally's. Finally after a lot of savings and hard work we were able to get a loan to buy the dream bike made specially for him. Since the bank cannot give is money without a vin#, we got a personal loan for the deposit. We sent a deposit for 50% and we were in constant contact with the company weekly. We went through drawings, pictures and ideas of how we wanted the bike built. Everything was going well, constant communication and excitement. After a year, a time when the bike was supposed to be ready, we were told there was a delay in production, but that they were going to restart working on the bike as soon as possible. Finally they sent us a vin#, they told us the next couple of month things were going to speed up and that we can start getting ready to receive the bike. We finally applied for the bike loan with the vin# given. The second check was requested as a final payment, pictures of a bike that still needed painting was sent to us. The check was sent out and then they went dark. We called a million times, tried opening a lawsuit, but apparently we will never receive the money back.

If someone ever has some information about Sucker Punch Sally's and how you can help us, please contact me. We will really be grateful.

That's total bullshit! Hearing that pisses me off, it sounds as though they intentionally worked you and your boyfreind so they could get every penny out of you available, so they intentionally defrauded you. Some fucking people have no conscious, now you have to pay on a loan for a bike you don't even own. I don't even know how I would react if I had to make that payment, pretty sure. Would at least take my vacation time and go to the area where the SPS was located and do some detective work and see if you can't find the asshole that stole your money, I'd at least try to get some answers.

Forget lawsuits. Only the lawyers get paid. Contact the Attorney general and file a compliant. File a lean on their business so if any money is found you will get some. I feel for ya.... been there done that....

You are clean out of your mind if you think I am gonna
Give a biker money up front for Anything
This wannabe mail order chopper thing is a joke.
You want me to pay for a motor? That motor lives with me
Until it goes in the frame. A frame and a little fabrication
Is not worth that much. In Austin TX attorney general won't
Go after fraud unless it's over $500000

Big difference between an individual and a nationally known company as well.
