thanks again, guys. i just realized that i'm only the fourth non-v-twin to win, and the second jap bike, out of 80-some previous COTM winners, many of which were professionally built.

this may be one of the coolest things that's happened to me in a while, not counting getting married, and having a little boy. going back through all of the winner's circle threads has made for a neat sense of accomplishment. thanks all of y'all for the honor.

many thanks Poop, I thought my 500/4 is gonna be a bit small when she is finished but after kicking the rake out she comes in at 90" - I guess riding a 9ft long Sporty for a good while and then going back to a 500/4 is gonna get you nervous
