Playing a little prank on the wife
Here's the story:
My father-in-law lives south of Tampa, FL and the wife & kids left for a 2+ week trip to visit with him, his girlfriend and my wifes aunt. Since they were going to be in Florida during the KISS & Motley Crue tour I bought them some tickets to go to the show. Our daughter is staying with Grandpa while his girlfriend takes in her first "Rock" concert. Her & my wifes dad normally hit shows from The Beach Boys, Barry Manilow, Jimmy Buffet ect. So this will be a definate "EYE OPENING" experience for her, LOL!.
Come to find out a guy I chat with frequently on Motley's site is flying over from London, England to attend the show too. Best damn part is he's in the SAME ROW just a few seats down from them. So he's going to start a conversation with my wife by calling her & my son by name. Ask them a few question that shes going to think, "How the hell does this guy know who we are?" Nothing in a bad way, just things that will get her mind racing. I told him to play it up a bit before letting the cat out of the bag....
I would love to be near them when this goes down

Sorry for the delay.........BUT IT WENT DOWN PRETTY DAMN SMOOTH,  !!
She actually called me from Tampa after he called my son by his first name during the first "brief" conversation. She says, "we were walking out of the aisle and some guy at the end of the row goes, "HEY DECKER, how you doing". She says, "its some guy with an English accent....I don't know how the hell he knew Deckers name, maybe he heard me call him that when I was talking to him earlier...".
When they came back to their seats he then says, "You ready for the show tonight Renee'?" Then the texting to me starts
"WTF....some guy behind us knows who we are, called us both by name. I have no F'n clue who the guy is, but he keeps looking at us...kinda creepy, not him...just the fact he knows who we are".
After the opening band John walked over and stuck out his hand and said, "I know your husband, we talk online alot on Motley.com". He kinda put me up to this...she smiled and told him, "It figures Dan would do something like this". "I was thinking to myself, how the fuck does this guy know us, LOL!"
It all ended without harm and he actually talked to them a few more times between bands and then on the way out of the Tampa venue. Told her that her husband (ME) seemd like a really, really good dude and hopefully someday we could meet up.
John was also nice enough to give my boy a KISS - Paul Stanley guitar pick that he had thrown to him.
