I don't need to make any horseshoes. I do own a full size anvil though. I'm serious.

What does blacksmithing have to do with bikes or cars? With all the precision steel available today in every cofiguration and material, not to mention the tools to work steel available doesn't this seem a little like a gimmick to you? What is the possible benefit of trying to work steel this way? When they did blacksmithing they did it because you couldn't buy it in the forms that you needed. If you can buy flat stock, tubing, square stock and billet, why would you feel the need to start with a raw piece and beat the fuck out of it? What am I missing?
If they had CNC's, water jets, and lathes in the 1700's don't you think they would have used them? If the colonists had a belt sander would they still sharpen their axes with a file? Give me a break.

I wish the build off was more fab, and less gab. I know it does not make great tv.
When I rule the world it will be all Fab, and no Gab. LOL

How is it, none of our resident Jesse professionals didn't know about this and give us a heads up?

No repeat on that I'm aware of...checked on demand and nothing...I'm very disappointed..I thought we had the inside track with everything Jesse related here I guess I thought wrong. Did anyone see it and record it? If so could they put it up on YouTube for the rest of us?
