Went to a discount store (Didi's Discounts) and bought this
for 5 bucks waterbottle/flashlights/lantern/emergency light and mp3 speakers so if I break down on the side of the road at night I can work on it and/or have a light so people dont run me down. lol

For years and years I have had a major pain in the ass finding decent boots that fit ..... I wear a 15 or 16 depending on manufacturer... oh and a EEEE wide also.

So I was pretty stoked recently to have discovered Belleville Shoe Manufacturing Co. new hope for the bigfoot mofo.

Belleville Shoe Manufacturing Company: ABU sage green boots military steel toe footwear and desert combat boots

Evidently they sell a lot of boots to the Military, they look to be well made, the price isn't totally out of line... AND they're made in the USA !!!
A lot of their styles are desert & camo uniform colors (tan, & green) but they do have some in black.

More importantly, most styles go up to size 16 4E (they have one that is XXW, which is even wider)

I just ordered a pair ($160) I'll let yous all know how they do, when I get'em.

you know the shoe industry has been totally torn apart by the wto agreement. you were lucky to find that shoe company. the only shoe company out of HUNDREDS that use to be in this state is new balance sneaker. they're hanging on by they're fingernails and they refuse to move to China. I hope everyone thinks about that when its time to replace the old sneakers.

Red, great shoes, I just can't wear good sneakers because of my nerve damage. My feet do better in Chucks, Vans and flip flops...I do have a pair of NB's that are about 3-4 years old with a MADE IN CHINA tag on em.

Damn!!!! no shit !! Got the 16's and they were HUGE!
Which was really strange to me cause my New Ballance 16's fit right on.
So I went to a shoe store & actually measured my foot on one of those metal deals..... it says I'm a fuckin' 14 1/2 ... WTF??
I've concluded that the shoe industry is the most fucked up, un-standardized.... free for all, ... jacked up..... (siiiigh...)

Now I get to wait another two weeks

A buddy I met on a Defensivecarry forum, that I found out lived locally and I met is going to do me the favor and fix my jacket and saddle bags

ALSO!! UPDATE!!!

Found out Tractor supply has some good cheap waterproof bags for 12 bucks that arent too bad looking. (Especially for 12 bucks) So am thinking of buying a pair to see how well they are.
