Ahhhhhhhh!

Got home from work tonight, it's 82 degrees and sunny...the wife and I hopped on the FLH went about 50 miles, got supper while we were out, came back, and we put 30 miles on the shovel, came back, got my hardtail out for another 40. First chance to ride since December and it was 30 degrees then. You guys who can ride all year long are lucky, but that first ride in spring feeling is as close as it gets to the feeling I had as a kid on Christmas morning.

We`ve just had two weeks of unseasonally warm weather, usually April averages 12 - 13 celcius. We just had temps in the low to mid 20`s....bout 72 fahrenheit in the divided states of America..
Sounds like you have your hands full Cptn, having to run up all your machines?...fun tho, and good that the wife enjoys being out with you too...

Its been nice the last few days but I just can't get my lazy butt up to ride. Mr Mom after work so if I want to ride its to work and back. I get up at 3:30am, if I ride I have to get up earlier so I can stop for breakfast..I'm gettin tired of working.

I'm just happy to be ridin' again...gonna hit the antique swap meet in Oley this weekend to see what I can scarf up to use on the shovel. Speaking of that, if any of you have time this weekend and need old parts(Indian, Harley, Crocker, Merkel, etc.) or just want to see a bunch of very cool old stuff you should check it out...I'll try to remember to take a camera and download some pics for everybody. It's a pretty big swap meet and my '76 shovel will be one of the newest bikes you can get stuff for there. Lots of complete pans, knuckles and such for sale. It's at the Oley Fairgrounds on Rt 73 about an hour NW of Philly....or about 10 minutes from my house.
