Sideswipped by a truck last weekend.

Last weekend I was riding my chopper down a road near my home when a truck nearly sideswiped me. I was able to avoid him making contact, but it caused me to wreck. Luckily I was wearing a helmet and wasn't going very fast. How many people on the forum have been involved in an accident involving someone who wasn't paying attention? It's a shame because now my wife wants me to sell my bikes and stick to driving a car.

BTW, I'm to old to do that shit now so I'll just lay in the road and wait for the meat wagon the next time.

Had an old lady make a left infront of me going 50, Like 10 ft in front of me. I hit her passenger tire. Went 40 feet flipping in the air. Landed on the curb of all spots. She didn't even realize anything happened. Police said she was in the store shopping when they were looking for her.

Coming up the Schuylkill Expressway, kinda bumper to bumper but I leave lots of room in front of me, guy in the other lane pulls right in front of me and the guy who was following him did the same, except he was aside of me. the car hit my leg and my girlfriend at the time kicked his door and was screaming, it saved us...oh, and yes, I married that girl. I'm talking to my wife about it right now and she said her biggest concern was how I was and if the bike was OK. I pulled over and so did the guy, he was panic stricken and after I realized everything was OK I told him to leave before I did something stupid. I actually felt kinda bad for him 'cause he was scared shitless. Any way, glad you're OK, hope you can work it out with you wife....mine loves being a passenger.

I was on a one lane hwy-65 mph speed limit-and a woman in the oncoming lane pulled into mine to pass a car..............this was a stretch of road 3 miles long, straight and flat. I was riding my dresser with running lights on and it was about 2:00 pm, she had no reason not to see me. The wife and I took the ditch and lucky I didn't lay it down. I caught up with her and tried to get her to pull over-she wanted no part of that. I would have given a $100.00 for a tire iron at that point.

I've thought about carrying my ball peen hammer for situations like this. I've had a few close calls myself. But I'm paranoid they'd be able to give the police a description of my bike or glimpse at least a partial tag. What with my bike not looking stock and all, kinda hard to blend in...

I had a lady pull in front of me a couple of weeks ago. Pushed me into the turn lane, so when i got next to her at the red light, i just told her to watch for bikes, she gives me the "whatever retard" look, so i smacked her window and cracked it. I bet she looks for bikes now. And Im glad your ok, glad ALL of you are ok. Ride safe my friends.

I was riding in the small pack of friends I have who ride (one other guy who had a nightster) we were comeing back from the island me with mine and his with his and cindys not paying attention his girls not either im riding in the lead and he's behind me (he had just gotten the bike) a guy in a old car starts staring at me and comeing into my lane from my right. I am able to see the pink skirt his wife's wearing and the two kinda worried expressions from the 2 kids in the back, rev the pipes and she notices hits him and he swerves back onto his lane and off the road. Cindy had no clue how close we were to the wall and my buddy jumped on him from behind reving the motor.

Ill always have loud pipes after that and outrun everyone when possible.

I kicked the side wirror off of one one time. Scared the hell out of em. Now I always insist on taking the lead. Throttle back as hard and as loud as you can. No one rides in front of me. If they try they get their feelings hurt pretty quick. I want open road in front of me no cars in site ever. If you get side swiped from behind you aint fast enough to live.

Been hit once by a car coming on the hiway, been almost hit a few times. It's not intentional so I never get too worked up about it as long as I can keep riding it's all good.

I hit a wash doing about 50 mph on a CR125..lost my gloves, my boots and my helmet, bent the bars a little too. That Jap bike fired right up. It had to have gone end over end 4-5 times before it stopped. Dirts a little softer then cement.
