since you asked - nope

I wanted to ask Steve - don't you want the fuel to be a little fat?
Does your FI keep it level at 14.7 all thru the boost cycle?
I am really starting to get the look of the truck with the engine starting to
stick out on the sides.

BTW - I have a great Cartech regulator that I prolly will never be using.

The 14.7 was taken at cruise. It runs between 14 and 15 at cruise speeds and normal driving. It's a little fat, about 13 to 1 at idle and under boost. The fuel management system kicks in when it's under boost. I can adjust it even fatter if I wanted to but I'm comfortable at 13.

As far as the engine sticking out the sides, I never re-installed the fender wells after I installed the Procharger. I still need to cut out where the intercooler tubing goes through each fender well. Actually, I kind of like the way it looks without them but it sprays water all over the engine compartment when it rains.

Just saw a clean 1990 SS454 for sale at the cruise night at A+W last night.

Place was packed,........especially for the first one of the season.

No price on the truck,..........just said Best Offer on the sign.

The 1990 is the least desirable year. I had one a few years ago. They made over 13,000 of them in 90, plus they had a lesser HP engine, a 3 speed transmission, and less intrumentation (no tach either). Still a cool truck, but if anyone buys a 454SS, they should be looking at the 91-93's. Especially a red or white one. They only made a handful of those.

Speaking of Chevy trucks with big blocks, (what a segue, huh?), here's one I painted the bottom half on, a few weeks ago that had a 454 in it.
