ORD. gun. it is a fun shooter. need to get a new trigger housing for it. it was cut off for some reason. really like the garand. haven't shot one in a very long time.

The 1911 model Valtro 45 cal above and to the left of the revolver, I bought about 7 years ago brand new for $1200.00. They stopped production a few years ago, and recently I was offered $9000.00 cash for it. The first time I shot one I knew I had to have it.

Too rich for me, my fingers get sticky when they get over a grand....so what's up with the hi-power?
My '87 Combat Elite bought NIB, not new now but still in great shape.

I paid 800.00 for the high power. I don't like the way it feels in my hand and it is my least favorite to shoot. Have considered selling it.

Had one a long time ago, liked it and liked the idea(too much Sonny Crockett TV maybe )...but it came down to choosing one manual of arms and the 1911 won I guess. I think you either like one grip angle or the other.
Bought two years ago, looks like shit now from the wear and tear, but runs like a top. Bout 350 rounds this morning after all this mil-surp talk.
John Browning is my hero. What an amazing list of guns that guy laid down.

What! You turned down 7800.00 profit because you like the way the gun shoots? Sometimes you just got to strike while the iron is hot, .

You must have mis-read the post. The Browning I don't care much for I can get 800.00 for.
The Valtro .45 I was offered 9000.00 for and the offer still stands.
