i have finally heard from one person on here that actually knew someone that owned a bike from them. everyone keeps trying to compare jj and occ for some reason. no one uses occ stuff yet there is an entire section on this website alone for people riding or building wcc. the cfl frame is everywhere, hellbent pipes are everywhere, the villan tank is everywhere. i would call that influence...people that build a bike choose your stuff...you have influenced alot of people into associating choppers and your parts.

if every where i go i see wcc parts and no occ parts, thats still the same "measuring stick"... just completely different measurements. and sr cant get out of the bike business, he isnt in it. that is the arguement. he isnt making money from the motorcycle industry, he makes it from tv and merchandise from the show.

jj and sr may have both boosted their positions with tv shows, but one of the two is selling parts and bikes...the other still has his son build theme bikes.
You mean the other has some bucktooth goofball kid that probably never even rode a bike drawing bikes on Solidworks and having the guys in the shop build it. Throw a wrench on here, and a sneaker logo there and you're all set. Rake and trail, what the hell is that? Doesn't matter, nobody is ever going to ride it anyways. Might as well be building a theme lawnmower.

That's not their financial statements, that's their sales price. I couldn't see people paying what AIH and Big Dog were asking but a lot of people bought them. WCC bikes are priced up there and apparently people buy those.

Their market is not the lower wage earner, it's the Yuppie with a lot of disposable income. I guess now, that market is dead.

I think JJ and SR both sold out the first chance they got. Its all about the money for both of them(nothing wrong with that) But I give SR more credit because atleast he is not trying to pawn himself off as a blue collar working man. Hes all about making money and he does a good job at it. JJ on the other hand is trying to make himself look like he is still living like he did 15 yrs ago and thats bullshit. He builds bikes for rich people, used to sell parts priced for rich people(Before and after the sale) he goes on any TV show that asks and hes married to one the most successful actresses in the country and im suppossed to buy into the act that he can relate to what i go thru on a daily basis. Bullshit! Congrats on becoming a wealthy man but dont insult me by acting like your not, That part I dont like

Not trying to spin anything. Both of those companies cater to high rollers who can afford the big dollar bike without thinking of the price. For a lot of their customers $51K is chump change.

I defend OCC's theme bikes because I think they are creative. Would I own one of their bikes - no way. Would I own any builders bike - no way. Would I own an AIH, Big Dog, etc. - no way. For me it's the big guys (MOCO, Honda, Ducatti, etc.) or something I put together for me. Besides my addiction is in making old, busted up bikes come back to life.

Others attack OCC's theme bikes because OCC has a lot more money than they do.
