just gotta get used to it....had a fixed one on the bike before the HS. Never understood why anyone would want to ride without one......Now it only goes on if the temp is under 50 or the trip is over 300miles in a single day.

I do understand how you feel though.

"Never understood why anyone would want to ride without one."

The common mantra of the weak~ and old people riding baggers..

Next is your intercom helmets.........

Talking

I've never ridden any long period of time with a windshield..it's totally out of Karma with why I ride for the experience of riding, and not to have anything on it that reminds me of a car~

Well I admit that I just ordered a windshield for the trip back from Phoenix on the Softail. It will come off the minute it gets home but no way I'm gonna travel 500+ miles a day for 3 1/2 days without. Will get the bugs back in teeth after I get home.

The closest I've came to a windsheild was on my ZX-10 & ZX-11 .

Can't really say they helped much EXCEPT for those 160 - 170 mph TOP END RUNS. I do know for a FACT that when your running 160+ and you sit back up in your normal riding position the wind will damn near blow you off the back of the bike !!

Never liked riding with a wimpshield, beard gets sucked under glasses and into my eyes. I bought two bikes with wimpshields and the first thing I did was remove them as soon as I got them home...

I've ridden only two bikes with windshields, a Road King and a Triumph Rocket and while they were only short test rides, that was enough to convince me I gotta have a bike with a windshield one day.
