I use State farm for my custom pro-street. They ask for the bikes value, but I had $50K in it building it, so I just asked for $10K of coverage. They agreed over the phone and charged me $600 per year. Fire, thief and state minimum requirements. They may have been a couple hundred dollars high, but I had 2-3 speeding tickets in the years before.

I was with a Midwest regional carrier (Country Companies) with my Harley V-Rod - and didn’t know if I was getting a good deal or not. But when I bought a custom chopper that added more than $1,000 a year to the insurance so I went shopping.

Geico had the best deal and they’re a name brand so that’s who I went with.

PS - I’m not affiliated with any carrier.
