Rog, you are actually right about that,...he does want too much. 10 year old Harleys are going for way less, especially the plain Jane Soft tail standards with grey engines and no chrome.

500 miles or not.

Rastoy,
Couple years ago I went garage shopping. That is how I found a fully built CFL with 50 miles on it. I also found an Electra Glide with 1500 on it! The Fire sale is on.

Yes it is, I browse Craigslist all the time, the prices are all over the place but the expensive ones are on there forever.

Bike fads come and go but cars are always hot. They seem to have more staying power than bikes because of a wider audience and a much longer season. They're also usually a better investment.

But hey, what's not to like? Hot rods, muscle, exotics. I'll take them all. I'll always have my bikes too.

Can you say 'cafe racer'?

I just bought a 2015 Ultra - with 8 miles on it left from Austin to Orlando -
then from Orlando to Miami - then to Key West - back to Ft lauderdale -
back to Austin 3300 mile sin first week - 2 days of 1300+ miles.

Still ride the CFL around Austin all the time - mostly for coffee.

I thought the 500+ miles I put on my bike in a little more than two days, (from Friday mid day through 7pm last night), was a lot.

Well, it is for my old ass, with bulging disks, sciatic nerve issues, bad knees, and a skinny ass on a lowered softail with minimalistic seat. .....

Plus, there was a lot of time spent drinking and having fun so,...there really wasn't time left for more miles then that.

I'm still with ya'll.. My damn never ending story (Corvette) just seems to take what little time I actually have, so even though I want to be back out in the wind, I'm really struggling to find the time. Good news though, the body work is nearly finished so she is almost ready for paint.... finally..!

This is what I did recently lol

so went to my buddies and had him weld the bracket for me so I could put my fog light and my brake line in the same place.

I like the way it looks

Bought a set of mids for 130. and ordered all the necessary grade 8 bolts and mocked them up

replacing my sealed beam headlight for a HID one. Fried the wires o.0

lol
