Hey guys and gals....Anyone have advice on any frames that are very similar in size, shape and spec to the Dragster frame?

I did research when I built my silverback Swedish chopper

The idea was to go with similar stance to exile bikes.
DAYTEC is making frames for exile. They have stock rigid frames ( 200 tire)and can rake it to any degree you want, Pure sex has 45 degrees in the neck, no stretches anywhere( and goes with 8" over front end on 6-7 degree trees. Additionally there,s slight difference in axle block made for Russel, but DAYTEC most definitely can do that for you.

I went with 49 degrees in the neck and 7 in trees on their suspended and rubber mounted frame( keeping all the parameters very similar) Steers perfect, with front end 12" over( more clearance than dragster and more rake gave me longer front end)
Cheers

Thanks Steinbvg, much help, nice looking industrial ride.

I was under the impression there was 2" stretch in front legs? If you don't mind me asking....What did the frame run - $'s?

in which ?

mine has no stretch, i don't think exile had any.

mine is more expensive , it's called episode, cause it's suspended, has extensive machined aluminum platform that holds softail trany connected to motor and all rubber mounted,,+ swing arm , + all the rear rubber mounts fxr/ dyna style. etc it was like $2200.
i'm sure the rigid is much less expensive.

industrial rides- is in't it what exile is all about?

thanks. That's my work in progress

yes, you're right, they do have 2"stretch.

I asked phil day not to give me any stretch, just 49 rake[ closer to the exile trike's look- loosk more radical. I even should have had negative in downs, like -2, i would end up having not more than 10+ front end. But it's ok with 12+

couldn't find 8 degre trees for 49MM tubes, max could find was 7 from storz, but the trail still came very nice, i can turn the bike with one hand on the intersections while shifting my manual shift.

Wcc fans here complain about daytec's cfl frames, but my 'episode ' frame is superb quality, welds are gorgeous. I'm even reluctant to paint it.
