The Home Stretch

So heres the story; Deployed soldier gets an email from his brother in law with nothing but a picture of a roller and a caption saying, "Your new bike."

Obviously I'm even more excited to get home now. We'll be working on the bike in Dallas, TX. I definitly want to go with a blacked out look, I feel like that look is under done these days. Probably black sheet metal with a matte black stripe going down the middle. Bobbed seat and a springer front end. I really like some of 18B's ideas, probably don't have the means and/or capabilities to pull them off though. Not that I would want to jack his ideas anyways.

I'm reading on the S&S website that the v111 is an engine designed for touring, but I'm confused in the difference between the v111 and t111. One thing I do keep reading is that it lacks in high-end torque, would that affect passing abilities on the highway?

I read the previous thread on this engine, just looking for further insight.
