internal throttle

hey whats up ?
well im looking to clean up my bars on my honda that im bobbin and i wanted to take out the switches and relocate them , thats the easy part but i cant figure what to do with the throttle housing . is their other throttles i can us that have a smaller housing ? i really didnt wanna do the internal set up because of cost and it looks a little confusing too, unless anybody knows wher i can get a nice one cheap ? other then that ebay have a few throttles for 1 inch bars but i dont know if my cables will screw into it ? any help and sugestions would be apprecaated . THANK YOU . im goning to include what i have now so u have an idea then i will also add what im talking about on ebay .... thanks again

There are plenty of aftermarket throttle controls out there. As far as compatibility with the stock cables I am not sure since I am not familiar with the non HD stuff. But you could certainly have custom cables made from Barnett to do the job if your cables are not compatible with aftermarket throttle controls. Most everything in the HD world is for 1" handlebars. The 82-95 style where screw in. Most are available in single or dual cable style and you can run one cable on a dual if you desire.

As far as the cable ends they are just a ferrulle so that should interchange the problem may come in in the threads since most will be american thread.

so do u think if i just bought a harley throttle like the one pictured i could just order harley cables and use them ? do the carb end of the cables have those little ball things on them ? as the honda cables do ?

The one pictured is for something real old or non HD. Looks like it might even be for the smaller 7/8" bars. An 82-95 HD style clamp will have threaded holes to attach the cables. HD cables are not always an option since the inner cable length can vary from carb to carb. Barnett does offer a clamp on style ferrule so you can cut and adjust the inner cables length as long as your carb takes a similar ferrule.....
