If you built your own bike lets see some pictures..... I am getting tired of all these guys saying check out my bike that I built only to find out that a shop did everyhting. lets see some bikes built by the working man..... I dont mean guys who work in shops either. only built in a garage......
here is my bike that I built the only help was from my old man......

Mine was mostly built in my garage - except for some sheetmetal work. Here a build log, up to the sheetmetal stage. I have another 300 shots or so of the rest of the build that isn't yet updated.

For finished product, see my gallery.

Sweet! Seeing mockup shots that turn into awesome bikes is why I love this forum. I wish I knew about it when I did my build last year.

BOB O, How is it that you start out with a double down tube frame in the first picture and have a single holeshot down tube in the finished picture?

Most here Build there own bikes. Some from Kits. Some from Scratch.
Some here screw on Chrome from the HD Boutique:HMMM:

Mid evil train 07-25-2008 01:24 PM I guess this counts as my own build. I chopped the frame in half, and went from there. I cut and tac welded all plates, tabs, post etc. A friend did the finish welds, because my life depends on it, and he is a pro welder. A pro painter did the tins, but I did the cuts and tabs on all tins including fender struts. I powder coated all small parts, a friend did the frame because it wouldnt fit in my oven. A few friends helped me out keeping me going in the right direction by anwering many questions I had, but I did the work. I can honestly say I built it in my garage.

Minor fab work but mostly buying parts and putting together. Putting together my daughters now almost finshed. When we get around to the next build I want to do more fabrication.
