Kyle's "sorry But Another Venom"
WELL ITS FINALLY HERE , ONLY 2 BACKORDERS & I MISSING PIECE.OF COURSE ITS THE LOWER LEGS & REAR PULLEY SO I WONT BE LINING UP THE FRONT OR THE REAR TOO SOON.FIRST QUESTION IS ON THE PIVOT SHAFT.CAN GET ALL THE BEARINGS AND SPACERS IN BY PRYING FRAME BUT EVERYTHING IS REAL TIGHT BEFORE TIGHTEN DOWN THE BOLTS. SHOULD THE PIVOT SHAFT BE ABLE TO WIGGLE SLIGHTLY BACK AND FORTH BEFORE BOLTING DOWN.FOR SOME REASON I REMEMBER READING THIS BUT CANT' FIND IT NOW.

Congrats on the bike. On your swingarm question you should ask CC member Mitch. I think he went through the same thing.

If yours is anything like mine; Prostreet, then...
You remove the retaining ring from the bearing on the left, You install the bearing on the right, with ring. Press it in until seats against the ring. drop in the threaded shaft and then install the left bearing, looser fit than right.
Wider spacer goes on the left between frame and swingarm bearing, narrow one on the rigth. the threaded shaft will move around until you tighten everything up.
Mine was very tigth to assemble also. I spread the frame just enough using a bottle jack and some 2x4s. I didn't want to scratch the paint during final assembly.

have you looked at or even got insurance yet for your bbc?
i need to start looking at insurance ,but you know how the great state of mass is.

Haven't given it much thought
Some of my buddies have had custom bikes with "Appraised Value" policies.
Kind of expensive, the premium is based on appraised value.
The premiums are also adjusted for where the bike is "garaged".
I've heard that Progressive has some Motorcycle specific plans, some addressing customs.
Right now I'm more concerned about getting my frickin handlebars bent the way I want them,
