Is that front end from a sport bike?
that is dam fucking fine!!!! i like everything... nice workmanship... looks like you move the tranny back some .. hows the oil pressure with that oil tank so low?? i was thinking about that idea on my build
thanks guys. the trans is back 3 inches and up 1, we strecthed a ultima plate, used bdl pulleys and had gates make a belt, oil pressure is good, lots of room under the trans so the level is about 2 inches above the oil pump feed, ive put plenty of tanks under trannys, just in normal position make sure you use the top feed to pump to avoid cavitation when you do oil changes.
The forks and calipers are from an 05 kawi 636 mounted to custom made trees. |
Nice job. How much gas does it hold?
it holds just over 5 gallons,

I really like the whole front end setup! Forks, renthal style bars and sportbike master cylinders looks sweet! Im gonna do that style on my next build
WOW that is fucking bad ass
That thing really rocks. I like it.
looks great
I think you nailed it.
Where'd you get the Islip decal? Cool ass bike!!
Killer work!!
Great eye candy, bet it turns a shit load of heads. Having the tank in the rear is a kool little set up. Is that a typical drag bike set up or just your little touch?
Great looking bike. Too shiny for me but great looking bike.
typical drag bikes use the backbone to hold about a half gallon of fuel which isnt a good idea if you wanna actually ride on the street.
The islip drag way sticker is from my father who was a class champ in 1964 (1961 impala), went to nam in 65, so he couldnt defend his title. islip speedway was a 1/8 mile dragway that closed in the mid 80's. I stole the sticker from him and replicated it as a suprise and to pay the old man some homage. |
I absolutely love it.
