Is that front end from a sport bike?

pop 28 03-10-2010 04:16 PM

that is dam fucking fine!!!! i like everything... nice workmanship... looks like you move the tranny back some .. hows the oil pressure with that oil tank so low?? i was thinking about that idea on my build

chaoscycle 03-10-2010 04:54 PM

thanks guys. the trans is back 3 inches and up 1, we strecthed a ultima plate, used bdl pulleys and had gates make a belt, oil pressure is good, lots of room under the trans so the level is about 2 inches above the oil pump feed, ive put plenty of tanks under trannys, just in normal position make sure you use the top feed to pump to avoid cavitation when you do oil changes.
The forks and calipers are from an 05 kawi 636 mounted to custom made trees.

Nice job. How much gas does it hold?

chaoscycle 03-10-2010 05:19 PM

it holds just over 5 gallons,

Nice. Enjoy the bike. Great workmanship on everything. The paint is perfect for that bike.

Where'd you get the Islip decal? Cool ass bike!!

Markee 03-11-2010 06:44 AM

Killer work!!

PoppaDLo 03-11-2010 07:15 AM

Great eye candy, bet it turns a shit load of heads. Having the tank in the rear is a kool little set up. Is that a typical drag bike set up or just your little touch?
