Looks good but I'd loose the fiberglass pan. They flex to much, or so I've been told.

Looks like you've got it pretty well mocked up. Any problems so far?

Has anyone heard of this new powdercoat process? The can mould the frame before powdercoating. Should turn out good.

That would be a definite advantage for powder. Let us know how it turns out.

I sure will. It is supposed to be a high temperature material used on planes and marine applications.

It's probably "Lab Metal". Used as a filler in high temp applications.

talk to your powder coater and use what he recommends, make sure the stuff your using has metal in it to conduct current flow. Evercoat metal to metal was a hot item for a while but it's aluminum & fiberglass, handles the heat great, but if you use it in a valley area dosn't always get a good coating because of metal around the valley conducts current better, attrating the powder before it gets to the low areas. Also if using Iridescents & multiply coats it doesn't coat evenly, and makes light spots. An all- metal filler works best. I've heard of Lab Metal but haven't tried it yet. But with a black powder as long as its super smooth it will look good, I think blacks are the easiest to shoot.

P.S. I like the set up on your scoot. It may not be the flashiest on fri. night but you'll be out ridden for many more hours with that rake and softail on Sat. & Sun. no accomadations for old lady???? or 1 nighter?????? Don't forget you can powder the fenders & tank, and paint pins or panels on top now or later. Black with Prism in it ( metal Flake) makes a real sweat look. You can use alot or a little.
I like a little less than a lot!!!!! Multi color sparkel in the sun light nice extra closs at night. Clean simple and sharp, just like your build.
