Looking for a turn to start keyed ignition
Does anyone have a good part number for a keyed ignition switch (round key even better) with a built in relay and turn to start capability?
I'm looking all over and it's driving me crazy.
I'm going to replace the stock ignition on my 02 xl1200 with the ultima kit, and I still need a good keyed ignition.
Thanks!

check marinas. there are also a ton on ebay. i found a ton on google searches, on ebay and marina supply sites, and with a little searching i could find critical dimensions on many. if you still have trouble, drop me a line. i got a catalog from a new supplier a month or so ago that included several of them, in various configurations.

Thats my big problem, I did a lot of searches and there are 100 different varieties. I'm hoping someone can recommend a direct part number / parts combo I can pair up. I have to assemble the parts and ship them to a buddy in Nevada that has my bike. If I send him stuff that doesnt work well together its going to suck.
I've seen some cool handle bar starter buttons, but you need to add a relay to it. I just dont know which way is the best to go. Shoot me please.

McKay / Pollock's are the way to go. Both are Marine Switches with Off - On - Start Easy to wire Red to "B" Green to "S" Orange to "A" built in starter relay.

Thanks everyone, pop 28 I tracked down Bob McKay's old shop up in Canada because everyone is out of stock. It turns out Bob McKay was too and I couldnt wait.
Lou, I took your second option and ordered up a Pollock ignition. The most common one used for choppers seems to be the 33-105 but again I can't find anyone who has it in stock. What I ended up ordering is the Seachoice 11651 (made by Pollock) which lists as the replacement for the 33-105. Waiting for it to arrive.

I have the same switch as CCI sells on my website. The CCI 12-203 is usually on backorder. After reading the thread about the Midwest ones I am going to test a couple for keys being different. I had 5 or 6 in stock the other day. They are the same keyswitch WCC used on thier motor mount. I use a Cole Hearsey switch in my harness. I have those too

John, I didn't even think to call you on this but I should have. WTF man, I've always had great success working with you in the past. My bad on that, I'll hit you on the next one.
In the meantime I decided not to use the marine switch I ordered because I had a good opportunity come up. A buddy of mine knows Todd from Todd's cycle and hooked me up with a sweet deal on a Todd's Cycle ignition switch. I picked up a blem, but I can't see any imperfections. This little unit has a 30 amp breaker built in, and no need for an external relay. It's turn to start 3 position and comes in a handy dandy chromed tube with mounting points. Nice and clean.
Since I'm having a friend finish the wiring off, I figured the easier I made it the cleaner the job and less work for him. I don't mind having this hang off the bike, it's pretty nice.
