well the bars with the small sprockets that are under the seat were built to house the ignition module and other electrical junk. but we ended up running the bike on points, so there's not many wires and no modules to be mounted, i cut all the stuff under the seat off last night, moved the key switch to under the coil, and ordered a single seat with spring that will mount there, and am probably going to end up getting one of those suction cup passenger seats, or maybe just a passenger seat that will be permanently mounted to the top of the fender. but i think it will look cool with the gap between the spring seat and passenger pad..

Called today about having my police inspection monday, wanted to see if i could have some of it apart for the inspection (which ive been nervous about with no turn signals, speedo, and its loud as fuck) and was told the police only check serial numbers and reciept to make sure nothings stolen. INDIANA has NO safety test!!!!!! nothing... ever.... never.. as long as its not stolen, you take your receipts to the bmv with a pic, and get a vin.

well had my police check last week, he walked in my garage, glanced at the bike and started filling out the paper work. i had all my receipts out, even pulled the original buell frame out of the shed so he could see the numbers on it, compared to the receipt. he didn't look at any of it. Went this past weekend to the BMV to apply for a vin, and that all went smooth as well. Now i have 30 days to rip everything apart, and get it all painted and powder coated so will be able to ride as soon as the new numbers come. Doing a full black paintjob with some pinstripes on it as well, just started stripping because i want to do the paint job myself, (and im cheap).
