So this is one of the things that i'm building for my bike. I's my own springer wannabe front End with a stock rear shock. I have already started a bit

Here is the length compared with a stock harley leg

And with the rear shock

I started my day with bending the front legs so i can do a lower shock mount in the center. Just need to cut them in right length.

The consentration level is high in my bald head

And then.... Hell yeah

Im saticfyed with the bends.... Sorry for the mess in my workshop. Just moved to this place recently and trying to get it good

i dont understand this fake springer... how does the front leg attach @ the axle??? and why not just make a functional/conventional springer?? its the same amount of work....

Hmm, i don't know if i follow you... But i hope you Will see how it should work.

And now for the reasons... 1. I don't like to do conventional stuff that you Can buy in a store. Everyone Can buy shiny parts and put it together to a Bling-bling chopper... 2. This is as the title says a project build on a low budget to show that you Can build cool bikes for cheap money

This is my old sportster.... Not the bike you see in every corner either

i get the whole budget thing... (look at my build right below yours)

how are you attaching the front leg at the axle/pivot point?

is the shock going to do anything? if so how is this a 'fake' springer? seems that you are building more of a girder than anything else.

...not ripping on ya, just tryin to figure out what you have going on.
