Sprotor is long gone my friend...it found a new home and I found a little cash. I had a good talk with Steve about the rear wheel bearings and he managed to get the neck stem situation figured out. I want to get over there soon to get the primary set up and drop off some parts. We should be up and welding in the next couple weeks too.

I picked up the springer on Chop Cult for 4 bones about a year ago. It's a paughco stock length from the 80's. I called Jason at Paughco about it and he said it's the old style front legs. He says he wants Paughco to go back to that style since DNA copied their current style.

I think the tank came out bitchen. Ron is a real perfectionist. He had the tank done, then cut out the bottom and re-did it to get a more concave shape. This tank is going to look great painted with the pop up cap mounted.

Hey thanks Septic. My friend Steve is doing the work at this point and he's doing a great job. I've provided the main components and some direction and he's running with it now. He's making many of the parts I still need from scratch.

I just don't have the time currently to do much myself and he's got amazing talent and he's a fantastic welder. I really want the bike done because it's been way too long. I'm starting to pump money into the project so it's got new life. I'll post more pics soon.

Update...

SO my friend Steve mounted the rear fender, license plate mount and sissy bar, and got started on the forward control mounts. This picture was from a couple weeks ago and the next step was to clean up the un-needed tube ends on the seat post.

Next...
So the tank I commissioned from Ron at Vision is AWESOME...but the specs I gave him were off and the tank is too small. It looks like a mini bike tank when sitting on the frame. Ron did an amazing job on the tank, but it's too small so I can't use it.

In order to move forward with spacing everything properly (seat location, forward controls, etc) I order a peanut tank which arrived today.

We'll get this mounted up so I can move forward.

We're moving full steam ahead now so hopefully more fun updates coming soon.
