Cool Sporty project by the way !!!

Most of my bros only have one ride and give me shit for having 2 but I feel better now after reading your post. I only have one semi-project bike ('64 XLH digger) and a '99 Road King Classic. I don't have a job so I guess I can't really afford them either.

I totally agree...we are all fucking nuts.

Picked up some Flanders 10" mini apes of a shop built choppers inc bike. Bars were narrowed to 29" like on the King of Sleaze bobber, Choppers inc internal throttle installed by Billy (plug welded for strength) 4" dog bone risers and inline top yoke...total cost $200

He even threw in a set of vintage black grips (not pictured)

Nope, they're Firestone. I got a good look at the bags while I was there. It looks like I'll need a model number though, I called Clayton but they just referred me to Firestone, said they couldnt help me unless I had a part number. The firestone website is worthless. I'll give them a call tomorrow when theyre open again and see how far I get.

My mom is the coolest. She just went in to my storage and shipped these cross country for my project. I'm glad she's retired now and able to help out!

Steve, The project is coming along nicely! I tried one of those tanks on my bike and didn't like it. Let me know if your going that direction. I was thinking of modifications on a King tank that might suite your build sort of Johnny chop style. Might look good with those bars??? I think that's a peanut on Chops bike so a little bigger, but I would Frisco it and do something similar with the shape. Take a look at my build when you get a chance. I will be doing o ton of updates until I get caught up....then screeeeaaaach back into slow motion!

Alenn, you're dead on correct. Golfish and I were discussing that today. The tank I had in storage was too big and bulky, it doesnt look right. That tank on Johnny Chop's bike is exactly what I need. We looked at a few today at the moon eyes show and decided the same thing so it's great timing that you came to the same conclusion, that must mean it's meant to be.

I'll give you a call about this in a week or two when I get some time.
