Question Rear Brake Line Assy

I haven't figured out where/how I'm going to mount my rear brakeline assembly yet.

Angry Where I spent Sunday

The left side of the Buell, where I spent most of my time this past weekend (Yes, I know the tank shoulda been one of the first things to come off.)

Angry The problem was here.

The hole on the right is where I had trouble. This bolt holding the gear selector & chin fairing was bent. It took hours to remove, but adding 'more power' to my wrenches finally did the trick.

Cool Doesn't look too bad.

When I finished salvaging rice donor parts, I couldn't wait to see my bike with a front end on it. I set the extended front end on it just to see how it'd look. I'm using the stock Buell legs. Of course, I couldn't use these extended forks even if I wanted to (the trail would be too long). Plus, it looks incorrect (to me) not to have the bottom frame rails parallel to the ground.

The right side.

The right side of my bike with the extended forks. It looks like the beginnings of a bike. I see I must be mindful of lighting for the pictures.

Cool Cool sissy bar, if I use it.

I like this sissy bar, but I don't think I'll use it on this bike. Maybe. Not sure yet. So, that's what I got done this weekend, only #1 on my list. That's okay tho', it's about the fun not the time spent. So, after work this week I'll be getting the tank off, and continuing on with my list.

ShefB,

Looks as if you're moving forward - finaly - after the delay in the frame delivery.

Looks as if you've got a plan so......keep posting.

Is that a 36 in the background?? Another project for another day??

Keep up the good work.

PACO
