Ghost's Buell M2 RNE Mutant Drop re-build

To start off, I have ridden dirt and sports bikes my whole life. I got offered this bike in trade on craigs as is, running and functioning...somewhat. Put $3500 into the trade for this...

woman came separately and for a much higher cost...

I didn't care for the colors, it didn't have mirrors or handle controls or a blinker system and none of the wiring was put through the frame. there was a makeshift horn and kill switch zip-tied on the frame by my left thigh, you have no idea how hard it is to kill it if you can’t hit in into neutral rolling into a parking spot

so we painted the frame and wheels a semi-gloss, wheels came out more glossy than semi compared to the frame but its ok. We plumbed the wires and added handle controls for the horn created a wiring harness for blinkers and hid everything in the headlight housing. Also went black crazy on all the parts we could

Big thanks to the mad scientist pictured. He has done more for this country than most soldiers do.

the exhaust still has to go to the powder coaters for a ceramic coating unless someone on here can convince me otherwise to do it myself. There are still a blinker that needs to be wired. just a bunch of small stuff but this is what is up so far.

a bad ignition stalled progress, went to a parts store for a new one 10 minutes before they closed for the night and they only had one left and it had been opened, stapled shut and taped back together. the clerk promised me that it was good and it wasn't. We took the voltage tester out and sure enough this one was back feeding also. Probably why it was returned

Looks great. Frame looks better black with that red. Nice job making it your own.

I think so too, my whole idea was to get the bike scary enough to scare old ladies when I roll to the grocery store
