Can you give any more info?
If it doesn't make you go faster or stop, you probably don't need it.

I initially dropped off the bike to have the electronic ignition worked on. He quoted me around $500 for what he thought the bike needed. New wiring and some other little issues with the bike. I paid I'm and told him to do it. I get a call while away on business saying they got deeper into the engine and the bottom line was he was sorry but the engine and transmission were junk. He quoted me around $4200 at first we settled on $3700 complete soup to nuts rebuild. Said he wasn't busy and I would have the bike in a few weeks. After several months the guy still had not done anything to the engine. I visited the shop several times. He was rude and condescending. I told him look I'll give you another month to get it done then I'm coming to get the bike. At this point he had $2700 of my money. A month goes by and still nothing. Although he did polish the clutch case and did the valves. He said he finished all the machine work and bought all new parts. That's bullshit. My guy in Portland will attest to that. He made up some bogus receipt and I managed to get $600 back from him. Oh yea and a completely tore down engine in card board boxes. The case half bearing seat was completely destroyed. I didn't notice it til I got home. It appears someone tried to work the trans bearing out with a screw driver. I had to spend a lot of money to have it machined and fixed. The guys a crook
