I don't know how many carbs you've cleaned or rebuilt but you might want to take them apart and soak them in a can of Gunk carb. parts cleaner for a few days. They will clean up much better then a sponge bob tooth brush.

I was only de-oxidizing the outsides for something to do to kill time. My Builder has all of the rebuild kits and all of the linkages as well. Also I wanted to get some pictures for my Blog as part of the story line for my build. It is nice to picture document these custom builds for later on and to share with friends who might not ever get to know the pleasure of rebuilding an old vintage motorcycle.

This project is a long ways from finalization. That might not be until late next year depending upon the engine firing over and being able to be tuned to a very sweet smoothness. If the engine needs rebuilding then I will finish the entire rest of the build and save the engine for last. I got nothing but time.

Looking great so far Mate, keep it up. I have ordered a great deal from Mitch at Klemphs in Minnesota. He even had lots of rare, hard to find parts that I had to search in England for when rebuilding my triple. He's reasonably priced too. Good Luck!!
