Norton chopper pics
Hey everyone, this site is pretty cool. I hope you like the chopper i'm building. I took a norton engine and decided to make a custom bike mostly old school style.
I just finished building this,
it's ready for wiring and the pipes.
Hope you guys don't mind bikes you can't build with a Custom Chrome Catalog.

Good looking bike, I like the lines and the black with the pinstriping on the tank. Used to be another guy on here a long time ago who was building a norton from FL I think??

yeah, as soon as i can get it wired I'll need to start practicing with the right hand jockey shift, not stalling it, and kick starting it quickly for when i stall it in traffic!!! LOL

Hey Slammed-Norton, welcome back man. I recognized that beast right off. Don't think there's any other Norton chops with blue suicide jockey shifts running around! The bike has come a long way and it's looking bad ass! Glad to see you made it back...

Slammed-Norton,
Your scoot looks really nice! Brings back the good ol' days of riding with my dad on his chopped 68 BSA. It really looks like it would be a blast to ride around. I like thumbing through the HORSE magazine and seeing the chops powered by something other than the V-twins(not that I have anything against the V-twins). Congrats on the awesome progress you have made and look forward to more pics.
Later,
Vinsanity

how does the clutch work on the jockey? never heard of that before.
/me slaps his forehead, realizing how its done even as he is posting.
duh, same as if it was with the left hand up on the bars and a clutch lever. right? well anways, thats nice. im mad with jealousy. you gave me some good ideas for when i change over to a suicide. i was going to go with a left foreward clutch and left sided suicide, with the rear brake at my right hand and a right hand throttle. but with the clutch on the shifter, i can just keep the rear brake down by my right foot and free up my handlebars from any levers at all. righteous. thanks bro.
edit : damn, im really tired. i just saw you basicly did the same thing in your foto's. very swifty. /me sighs and then scampers off to bed.
works gonna hurt tomorrow.
