lol the down tubes are stock as far as i know but the realy scarry part is the stock frame is brazed together in some locations. and the engine was rebuilt by: http://www.wheelsmithcycle.com/service.htm
good guys there at wheelsmith. good price too and only a little BS to deal with lol.

Hey good luck on your build ..ihave built several Bsa an Triumph Chops...The one thing to keep in mind when setting these up is to make ABSOLUTELY SURE..the frame an suspension are level when in upright ride mode. I have seen more than one motor blow in many pieces because the motor was not level. htere are a lot of old frames out there that when frontend an frame are mated the motor is leaned back.The engine will starve for oil creating catostopic failure "BOOM" Loud, scary, and exspensive. When I buid one of these I use a bare set of cases an a level and make double sure there is no lean to the engine left to right an front to back. This will ensure long motor life an pleasurable ride.
