A true survivor!

Hello guys,

First I have to say that this is a very fun web site and I’m glad I found it because we all have that common interest that makes it work. I really enjoy seeing all the projects that you guys are building.

I thought you all might like to see what I have been riding for the last 34 years. That’s rite I built this bike when I was 16 and in high school. It was my first love and I have never had the hart to part with it. Now at 50 I still love riding it just as much as I did that first time I rolled it out of my parent’s garage doors in the spring of 1974. I keep up on it by doing all the little things it inevitably needs done to it to keep it up and rolling. The chrome is showing its age but it still starts rite up with one or two kicks and drives like a dream. Last year for the first time in years I installed a BNR clutch & belt drive & customized the primary cover (However not shown in these pictures), new carbs. oh god it idles so nice now! 750 big bore kit and did the exhaust wrap because the chrome was all worn out on the pipes, just to name a few, other then that I just do regular maintenance to it and ride it and enjoy it because that’s what it’s all about man.

I think he meant the bike. It has survived through the years.
