Cool Hey guys , new member pics...

New to the forum , heres a little about me and my bike. Bike is a fairly rare Matchless G12 CSR ,side by side twin . I started with the motor cradle and neck , and built my own frame . It took way too long with my limited skills but I'm happy with the results. Everything so far has been done in the garage and only plan on sending out motor for complete rebuild ,and some plating, otherwise I'm going to tackle it! Here are some pics and I will definitely be around the site ,look forward to meetin' ya folks! Don Doerksen

Frame looks good. Welcome to the club These pre units are a lot of fun to set up, shouldn't be hard to find a builder, just get somebody thats good on the Triumphs and BSA's and the Matchless is the same. Don't need a full blown restoration, shop around for just a good builder. If you don't hit what you like there's a guy in Baltimore Md. that is very reasonable ( but a little slow, figure 9mths) but does good work, used to build Tri. & Sporster drag racing engines and did a lot of the work on Routts twin engined Triumphs in the 70's. He'll upgrade to roller bearings, do some old tricks to the valves and heads, and does a real good job on the balencing and playing with the flywheels, he's done a couple of my Indians and there 5 times less vibration than after my rebuild.

Welcome. I'd love to see more pics of the frame, etc. (put them in you gallery and they can be larger).
There is a Matchless user group through Yahoo where you can get a lot of your motor questions answered and you might be able to find a motor man close to you through them. I got a lot of help from them when I rebuilt my '65 Matchless.
Try to learn something new every day and don't accept everything as fact.

Nevermind, you're hopeless.
